Between you and me

Dear Diary,

I wish certain people would just
leave me alone.

To Her

...who made everything perfect.

who was willing to go an extra mile just to make me smile

ma, you made my life... you made my life.

Happy Mother's Day.

Study

... that's what i'm supposed to be doing

but facebook and movies have won me over, i need a little motivation to choose books over 90210.
my nails have finally matched my soul and i can't be more thrilled. stop asking me where i got it done please. yes i like them but having to talk about it every hour or so is making me sick. tanya sekali dua tu dah la. and by the way, it'll be gone by next week.

the new restaurant beside my hostel isn't half bad, well if you've been away from home this long, you'll find any food having a name native to the east on the menu, is worth L.E. 10 a plate.

yesterday was a good day, met the right people at the right time of the day and i swore i heard the feel good song playing from somewhere over the rainbows. i am making sense.

oh and i spent a couple of hours at the Pathology Museum, it was fun at first. but when the whole place became jam-packed with people, i took a hike. well i don't like the idea of the whole place deserted either, i mean, me alone with jars and jars of abnormal organs isn't exactly comforting. *shivers*

anatomy lesson at the end of it all was fun though i was so sleepy (not to mention i was sitting next to the professor when he explained the nerves of the forearm), well, it has been a long day.

i could do with days like this one...

Look and you might see

can't believe someone spoke to me about this when i myself haven't thought about it for so long. hmm to hear the word invisible, that's quite a metaphor.
but after having someone convey their thoughts from their standpoint, felt a sudden need to ask...

i saw you when you were "invisible"

i don't really care and it doesn't even matter but...

from where you're standing now, can you see me?

Drug War

I'm in love with my anatomical snuff box!!!

(it's that sorta hollow triangular area on your wrist on the thumb side, yeah that's the spot, see the artery)

Imran says it's mangkuk-shaped, so that's where you put all the good stuff then take a good sniff right there (a real deep one okay, i mean real deep), and

all my troubles seem so far away...

The professor who taught us yesterday did it quite a few times (sniffing imaginary drugs from the anatomical snuff box) to tell us how that part of our hand got its name and i can't stop doing it too (pretending to inhale drugs, then doing the expression after-half closed eyes and a satisfied smile), it's so much fun! hahaha...

but without the drugs of course...

but if there were, so the drugs has to be in powder form la kan?

*damn it, i sucked at being a teenager*

that Sunday evening feeling

My sisters and i, were OTH freaks... well at least i used to be, since i went to boarding school i've missed too many episodes so i sort of stopped watching and this is totally besides the point

there was this one episode where Peyton went out of town to visit Jake and his kid... it was a Sunday that day... and when it went dark, Jake told her she had to go home because she has school the next day, she asked Jake if he knew that Sunday evening feeling...

that Sunday evening feeling... it's that feeling where you have the whole day to yourself and it's been great and then you remember you have to go to school the next day, so it ruins the rest of the night. and i thought i was the only one who felt that Sunday evening feeling everytime i had a great weekend and then it all has to end, it's honestly not a nice feeling.

you feel all worried and nervous and restless and partly sad, well at least i do. so you guys get it now that i've explained it.

couldn't shake that feeling since i came to Egypt :O
