March is over already???
i guess time flies even when you're not having fun XP .. i can't believe it, since when did i start to grow up? i used to think i'd be 10 forever...
well i always knew that everyone would grow up.. i just never thought it would, well you know, actually happen to me.
really, i used to think there's a million years to go before i actually reach 18... always thought it'll take years and years till i get to drive a car or own a laptop...
don't get me wrong, it's nice to be finally old enough to do these grown up things like buy your own stuff and go wherever you want to without having a door shut to your face because you're not legal... it's awesome, it really is... it's just.. i dunno,
i missed the age when i wasn't in charge of my own life (but my parents were). missed not having to give a crap of how i look like or what i eat or what i do and if i made a mistake, it's not really that big of a deal. never had to worry about a thing in the universe. oooh yeaaah, those were the times.
it's not only the things that i get to do are different, then and now, but it's me too. i'd say i've become a very different person than i was before and i'm starting to miss the old me... sigh, it's not showing any mercy is it, the years, changing everything along the way.
i really miss it when i had strict rules to abide to.. haha well actually it was fun to break them.. sigh..
i guess i’m happy now just like i was happy being a kid, it’s really just in different ways…
what i’m trying to say is…
i wish i had followed Peter Pan to Never Neverland when he wanted to take me there.

Not Again
it's the 2nd tiiiiime. god. people are gonna think i'm so dumb.
the lecturer called me up front, by name.. again.
the first time it happened i was sitting in the front row and she requested i approach the blackboard. shit. i've missed a few classes and i barely know what's going on. she shoved the microphone in my hands after asking my name, she continued by asking me a couple of questions to which i only smiled, followed by a very long and embarassing 'errrrrrrrrrr'...
entered class a couple of minutes late this morning and i walked straight to the last row then rested my ass on the wooden seat. to my horror she pointed straight at me and told me to sit in the very first row. crap. felt like we were acting out a little drama and everyone was watching..... all of them. on top of that she actually called me by name despite having other lectures to conduct and haven't seen me for two days. darn it, shouldn't have told her. well anyway, then she asked me a question yet again and i was a little out of breath with all that moving from the back row to the front and before that rushing to reach class in time, yeah so i guess i panicked and i was mumbling the answer. she looked at me and said
and i'm thinking if she'll ever just spare me and leave me alone. and for your information i answered correctly and she misheard me. thanks a lot.
it's just so fantastic. what could turn out as a perfectly good day was ruined so early in the morning. i am so gonna prove this lecturer wrong - wait for it...

the perfect shoes, i met those in Bali 2 years ago, skechers they were. i fell in love with them the moment i set my eyes on the pair. perfect i tell you, a piece of work that one, well to me they were. well you can imagine how the shoes look like now after almost everyday of use, looks a little (okay maybe a lot) worn out.
the quest to find shoes to replace these perfect ones was awfully tiring. i just don't think i can fall in love with another pair, just don't think there is another pair that can top this pretty thang... is there? can there be?
i had a good mind to buy the exact same shoes, only mom'll start a riot... went on about the pair i have isn't really nice.. those perfect shoes aren't nice! sigh told her she was wrong for the umpteenth time already
so i roamed a few malls though i know i'll never find the perfect pair. never? does another one exist?
went to skechers as a last resort because all the other shoes elsewhere sucks. bought one similar to the perfect pair i used to own... but i'm not in love with it.
this quest is not over...

heart wrenching
when i was about 7 or 8, i always wished i had other people in the house other than just me, my younger sister and my mom and dad.. mind you i have 3 other siblings but they were all much older than me and were studying overseas and at boarding schools. i was soooo lonely, really i was. extremely happy when we have guests over, at least the house won't sound so hollow with other people around. i didn't really have anyone to play with or do pretty much anything with, life sucked bigtime then.
years later my eldest brother had two daughters and automatically, i have two nieces and i never thought then they'd be the best thing that's ever happened.
they're about 8 and 4 now.
they do the most arghh hair pulling things!
they squeeze out your lotion (until it's empty) on a piece of paper. they draw on your school books. they delete your programs on your laptop. they spill juice on your laptop. they drop your laptop. they call people they don't know with your phone. they finish your mp3 battery. when they enter your room it's the same as having your room hit by a tornado. they put your clean clothes with your dirty clothes. they rummage through your pencil case. they take all the pencil and highlighters. they finish the highlighter ink by not closing the cap. they lose all those small things like your rings and sim card and keys. i can go on...
but despite all these things, they make me laugh all the time. they draw me cards with my pencil and highlighters. they tried to make the card stick using my lotion. they use my laptop's webcam to take their own pictures. they save me cookies and chocolates when they have some. they shout for me when they stumble upon my favourite songs showing on tv. they would always tell me stories. they tell me whatever they're excited about. they're they tell me they love me. i can go on...
at times, they annoy the heck out of my sisters and i ...i wouldn't change that for the world. whenever they're around, there'll be a lot of yelling and crying and laughing and screaming.
but when they're not around.... it's really really gloomy
the worst part is saying goodbye to them. gosh they make everyone real sad when they have to go back home.
a few days ago my family sent me off at KLIA. i was going to go down the escalator after saying goodbye to my family only to realise i was so stupid because i didn't say goodbye to those two kids. i called out for them ( they were playing with the ATM nearby) and they came running and hugged me and say things that really made me tear up, sigh.. the things these kids can do. it's so heart wrenching to leave them when they're saying i'm going to miss you aunty thirah, bye bye. they make it millions of times harder to walk away when they're shouting after me. :'(
i'd go to the ends of the earth for those two, they really know how to make me happy in unimaginable ways and they're always saying i'm their bestfriend, and that.. is just priceless

hahaha
today. simply hectic, can't say anymore than that. seriously. throat hurts. laughed too much. and probably too loud.
my real day back in Egypt. woke up when it was still dark, wishing and wishing that when i open my eyes somehow, just somehow i would still be in Malaysia... darn it. ah well, was worth a try.
i'm surprised at how much free time i had. watched a couple of 90210 episodes and gossip girl's 18th epi (gosh, i hate miss carr).. *i must not hate 3x
lunch with Fikri's parents was sooo much fun. i laughed like ......... adoy. i swear i must've hurt my vocal cords. i was feeling happy and joyful haha, so i was like laughing at everything, it's all funny. and i ate a lot. a lot a lot, not a lot a little, if you get what i mean.
fooled around with sab munirah hab im nas nor jibah and fikri. it was crazy man. plus, punk'd was on, what more reasons to laugh. sakit tekak betul.
oooh Fikri's mom made Nasi Lemak and .... asam pedas it was, i think.. and karipap and these triangle things, what were they called..... ah samosa! yah.. sedap weyyy
then after reaching home, guess who called.. sufiii! sufi ain jay ika and... yah just four of them came, sufi's mom gave me a few things i had to pass to her, so they stopped by to collect them, but stayed about an hour and boy did i get a few more big laughs with them. poor throat, i won't laugh as hard... anytime soon.. i'll try anyway. *reaching for strepsils
those four are hilarious man, serious jokers lah. i can't help myself, uncontrollable giggling at their every story with their gestures hahaha, damn they crack me up. always a real pleasure hanging out with them but next time, warn me earlier, i'll prepare the buffet.

then they played a little Twister and when they can't twist no more (laughed watching them) they did something that no one has ever done before... they went through my closet. sigh, i lost in trying to defend it, one of me and four of them, with sufi as the leader i stood no chance LOL.... had a good laugh really.
so now that i'm finally away from other people who can make me talk or laugh, i have decided to bore you with my life, yay! well that's it... told ya it was boring.
and now i'm off to bed. jet lag you know.

Go Figure
Still trying to figure out what's wrong with me. It's friggin weird. There are two things in this world (so far) that I'm sure I have no clue about. And when I say no clue, I really mean no idea whatsoever, nada, zip.
1. Hair
2. Roads/Maps
I swear that these are the only 2 things that'll make me go quiet when you people start talking to me. I'd better not have more people talk to me about hair and roads after this or I'll swear I'll delete you on facebook.
Hair
Is there a difference when someone does a different parting or cut like what.. 2cm of their hair or curl it when it really was wavy? I mean really!
I'll go,
Damn it. I just can't tell no change. Makes me feel bad okay. Recently i got a
Okay well I'm not completely ignorant, I'll know if you dyed or straightened or did... well something actually obvious to the human eyes. But to have spiked it a little more to the left and 25 degrees from normal instead of 24... that! I really just.... ahhh
The thing that bugs me shitless is other people notice it like it's a new shopping mall. Compare Tom's and Peter's hair when they are completely the same! (to me), is scaring me out. Why can't I tell the difference *sulks
Explanation? Pretty please?
Roads
Don't get me started on this. I've been living in Subang since dinosaurs rule the earth and I still can't drive around alone because.. get this.. I might get lost in my own neighbourhood and stop by the roadside to use a public phone (because wouldn't you like to know who left their handphone at home today) and call home to ask for directions. Adoyy. I just don't remember em ways. Life can't go on like this. And don't you dare say I'm not trying to hafal the roads coz I am okay, I really am :(
Life sucks when you don't talk hair and don't own a chauffeur. ahh humbug

err no, I didn't cut my hairAnd when this conversation takes place in a room with other people, you'd bet your cat's lives I'll receive the glaring ovation.

you like what I've done to my hair?So I'm looking at his head thinking how the hell did it look the last time.
